The more I use Dreamwidth, the more I like it! And the more IJ loses its appeal...
One inconvenience of DW is perhaps that you need to get an invitation to get an account if you don't want to purchase it. But then, you can still friend through LJ or IJ open ID code! I'm not sure how to do it, but there are people doing it so it's possible!
I'm not yet sure on what to do with IJ, I may delete it cos it's not like I'm active on comms here. Keeping too many journals can get overwhelming and keeping a blank journal makes me feel a little bad for it... Just a dork speaking.
But then I have friends who moved to IJ permanently after LJ's last fandom scandal and I want to keep track. What to do, what to do...!
Until I figure it out...

Hi all!
I got a dreamwidth account thanks to a kind soul on my f-list! *weee*
If you have an account, poke me here so I can friend you! My user name is (and always will be as long as it's available) Mayflo *lol*
I imported my IJ entries and they are purged down to art posts only and a couple of memes. I intend it to be an art journal only, but I haven't decided whether to post my worksafe arts too... If I'm to import LJ's posts, I'm never going to purge 6 years worth of posts *frets* Still deciding...
But I'm liking it so much better than IJ truth be told. It's prettier, more user-friendly and I see a lot of potential. Now I see what the hype was all about, it's definitely better there :D If only they were as indulgent with mature content...
I've been told that it is as friendly to fanartists as is IJ. But what do you think?? I have the journal semi-friends only and locking most NWS art posts as were on IJ, but do you reckon I can unlock them from now on??

My previous post was f-locked and some of you may have missed what's going on with me these days, so here's my brief RL update if it's of your interest.

As far as fandom is concerned, the worst damaged bit is my artistic Muses. No smut would come to me. All the smut Muses seem to have abandoned me D: I know I owe drawbles since... Last year! OMG! >_<
But I will recover soon. I reckon I just need to switch to my fave software, Photoshop. I was using Open Canvas and am not used to it at all and is giving me grief T_T So yeah, need to do something about that.
I was browsing my older, deleted arts and got soooo nostalgic. Felt like reposting massively my older arts. Would you mind if I did that here? Would you mind seeing my old stuff again?
It also made me want to try a remix of my older NWS arts. I did it for my WS art once and it was so much fun <33
On the other hand, I'm participating in ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) hd_worldcup. I'm on team EWE so go read/see all the delectable posts and vote for us! While I was away from LJ, a lot of things happened that I'm just becoming aware of after months... *hides in shame* But I noticed that generally speaking, a lot of my f-list has become multi-fandom.
And my inquiring mind wants to know...
Have you totally moved on from HP for good to never come back??
Have you just become multi-fandom and HP is still your home ground??
Or HP is still your only fandom??

A/N: I had my monitor adjusted to "games" which lightens the colours considerably. But I didn't realise this till I saw this same art in another PC and went, ZOMG! Spooky! o_O This colour scheme is nothing I've ever used before and are too contrasting and bright. I hope it doesn't scare you out, or render your retina useless D: I must admit, though, I very much enjoyed making the intricate textures. That was loads of fun *heh*

Miyavi's latest album is awesome. I really liked it. When I first knew about Miyavi, I thought he was a typical misfit of society with ADD who didn't have a place but in showbiz for all the eccentricity he personified, and to be honest, his first songs were *blah* to me. So he seemed talented but his songs certainly didn't seem like it.
But then, ever since "Uta Dokusou", I've seen his talent bloom. Now I can see a very earnest attitude towards becoming a good performer and his music has matured a lot, and I mean, a lot.
His costumes may be outrageous as ever but the themes on the latest album is quite powerful, heartfelt and sincere; I really liked the message that carries. So hats off to Miyavi! :3
